Terms of Use for ZenPod

These terms govern your use of ZenPod and its Ask service, provided by IdealistSpace Inc. By using them, you agree to these terms. Apple's applicable App Store terms and standard app license also apply.
Using ZenPod
You may use ZenPod for lawful personal podcast listening. Do not use it to infringe others' rights, bypass access restrictions, disrupt the service, or gain unauthorized access to systems. You are responsible for the content and feed URLs you choose to access and the information you submit in questions.
Podcasts and other third-party content
Podcasts, artwork, transcripts, and show notes belong to their respective owners. ZenPod provides a player and links to content; it does not grant you ownership or permission to redistribute that content. Availability, accuracy, advertisements, and changes to feeds are controlled by their publishers. Downloads are for uses permitted by the rights holder and applicable law.
Ask and generated answers
Ask is optional and uses AI. Answers may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unrelated to the episode, especially when a transcript is unavailable. Verify important information. Answers are not professional medical, legal, financial, or other expert advice. Do not rely on the feature for emergencies.
We process your questions and episode context as described in the Privacy Policy.
Devices and availability
Internet access is needed for search, streaming, new downloads, and Ask. Downloaded episodes can be played offline. Network or carrier charges may apply. Apple Watch controls playback on a paired iPhone; it is not a standalone audio player. CarPlay requires compatible equipment.
Features may change or be interrupted by maintenance, network conditions, publisher changes, or platform updates. We may restrict access to the Ask service to prevent abuse or respond to legal requirements.
Ownership and responsibility
We retain rights in ZenPod's software and original materials. You retain any rights you have in your own content. Keep any backups you need of your subscriptions and other data.
To the extent permitted by law, the app and service are provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies, or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.
Changes and contact
We will post updated terms here with a new date. Material changes will apply prospectively, subject to applicable law. You can stop using the app and service at any time.
